We are able to regrind and recoat all of your tools. To ensure that your tool will be as good as new, our technical team will determine the amount of regrinding needed depending on the wear and tear. Factors that indicate the need for
resharpening are burr formation, deteriorating surface quality of the machined workpiece, or deformed profiles.
Cutting tools ground by Gloor with a logarithmic relief have the advantage that their profile shape remains 100% constant even after repeated resharpening of the rake angle. This ensures consistently high process performance.
The product lifecycle of a high value cutting tool can be extended through resharpening based on the degree of wear. The
logarithmically relief ground cutters may be a little more expensive, but it will make your tool as productive and functional as when it was new. Regrinding is therefore definitely worth the cost in the long term.
Gloor Precision Tools Ltd attaches great importance to the
sustainability of its products and processes. We are ISO-certified according to the ISO 14001:2015 standard and are therefore
committed to environmentally friendly business activities. Our
integrated environmental management system takes into account quality, environmental protection, occupational safety, and health protection criteria, and is regularly checked, updated, and improved. By resharpening cutting tools, we are able to conserve resources and avoid unnecessary emissions.
Is your workpiece showing burrs, is it deformed, or is it no longer producing workpieces with the required surface quality? At Gloor, we can regrind your tools quickly and easily. Since Gloor tools are logarithmically relief-ground, they can be reground particularly quickly.
